Movies We Love
Movies are an essential part of our everyday life around the Vincent House Hold. We live and breath stories and are obsessed with finding new ones that inspire us and help us to understand our own experiences more clearly. One of our biggest frustrations has been constantly filtering ableist attitudes from our screen as we try to enjoy these narratives that shape our worldview. Sadly, at this point in time, we can only refer to one movie currently that does justice to the disabled narrative (that we have seen, please let us know if you have more to recommend!). Clearly more of these stories need to be recorded, filmed and produced! This film is an extremely powerful watch.
